Sunglasses brand Goodr is stepping into summer with new shades fit for Barbie and Ken. The affordable brand partnered with Mattel for a limited-edition capsule of sunglasses styles with three unique designs inspired by the popular doll franchises. The collection launches June 14 on Goodr’s official website.

“Barbie and Ken are icons. So when the opportunity came up to partner with Mattel, we knew we had to combine nostalgia, glamour and beachy Malibu Dreamhouse vibes, then run it all through the Goodr blender,” Stephen Lease, Goodr cofounder and chief executive officer, said in a statement to WWD.
“The result is a collection that’s bright, playful and made for anyone who wants to serve main character energy without paying main character prices.”

The Goodr x Barbie and Ken collection features three unique frames with distinct style motifs evocative of the Mattel dolls. The Iconic Since 1959 sunglasses feature the nostalgic black and white motif of the original Barbie doll’s one-piece swimsuit, crafted with the Goodr glam G frame with hot pink accents.
The Barbie Bold sunglasses are designed in vibrant pink with angular cat-eye shades from Goodr’s pop G frame. A hint of an ombré element adds a playful touch to the Barbie pink tone of the accessory, full of glittering embellishments for added shine.

The California Dreamin’ sunglasses, crafted with the Goodr OG frame, takes beachy inspiration. The white frames include horizontal lines of teal, pink, orange and yellow, evocative of Ken’s surfer style — a wave motif also features on the frames, along with Ken’s signature. Prices for the frames range from $40-$50.
Goodr joins several brands who’ve collaborated with Mattel’s Barbie over the last few years. Following the success of the 2023 film “Barbie,” accessory and fashion labels from Gen Z-oriented Edikted to Azazie and more have launched Barbie-inspired collections and capsules.
