Get Off Grid in Style Thanks to This Device—On Sale for Prime Day (2026)

It’s summer, time to head out into the great outdoors. If you want to get a bit off the beaten path, but still have power, grab this deal on the Jackery Explorer 300 Portable Power Station. This little power station has enough juice to keep the blender humming through a hot summer afternoon at the beach.

Portable Power Station Explorer 300

The temptation with portable power stations is to go big. The more power the better, right? Well, the thing to remember is that you also have to carry these things around if you’re camping or road tripping. That’s what I like about the Explorer 300—with 292 watt-hour capacity, it’s got enough power to keep quite a few devices running, but only weighs 7.5 pounds and is easy to carry around.

It does have a max power draw of 300 watts, so you’ll want to ensure that whatever you’re looking to power doesn’t need more (it can handle a 600W peak surge), but in my experience, that’s plenty for electronic devices and most small kitchen appliances (not electric kettles).

The Explorer 300 can charge off a wall socket, USB-C charger, or, if you want to be even more off-grid, Jackery’s SolarSaga 40W Air Solar Panel, on sale for $99 ($30 off). Charging off USB-C will take about three hours; solar will be more like five on a nice sunny day.

We have found Jackery gear reliable and durable, and you can expect to get at least a decade out of this battery. Go any bigger than this and portability gets debatable, but there are some more options below. The warranty on this one is three years, but you can extend it to five years by registering with Jackery.

We’ve spotted a few other Jackery deals worth considering, though please note we have not tested each of these products, like the Explorer 2000 Plus—the brand’s reputation is solid, however, and we have never tested a Jackery product we had serious issues with.
