Georgina Rodriguez Dons Gucci Horsebit Pumps At Venice Film Festival

Always and forever a Gucci fan, Georgina Rodriguez wore the designer from head to heel at the 2026 Venice Film Festival on Sept. 4. in Venice. The social media star attended a screening of “Mr. Nelson, Did You Kill People?” directed by Shinya Tsukamoto.

Showing love for one of her favorite designers, Rodriguez popped into a pair of sleek black Gucci Donna pumps, currently retailing for $1,220 on the brand’s website. The all-black silhouette features nappa leather uppers that smoothly transition into sharp, knife-like pointed toes adorned with gilded horsebit accents, a staple Gucci design cue. Thin 4.3-inch stiletto heels and cushy padded insoles round out the set. If black isn’t your thing, Gucci’s Donna design also comes in a rich chocolate brown and striking bright red.

If you’ve been closely following Gucci over the last few years, you’ve likely noticed that horsebit accent. The detail was taken straight out of the equestrian world, affixed to the brand’s bags and footwear. While Guccio Gucci founded the brand back in 1921, the horsebit motif didn’t start cropping up until 1940, seen primarily on luggage, belts and early handbags.

It wasn’t until 1953 that Gucci decided to incorporate the equestrian detail into footwear, which led to creating one of Gucci’s most iconic silhouettes: the horsebit loafer. While Rodriguez’s shoes are quite different from the loafers the brand is so well known for, the essence of the past remains in the gilded horsebit addition.

Paired with her sleek Gucci pumps, Rodriguez tapped the brand once again for a custom suiting moment in blue. The ensemble consisted of a fitted, tailored blazer and a matching pencil-esque skirt with a slit up the back to aid in movement. To accessorize, the socialite donned an array of Pasquale Bruni designs on her fingers and around her neck, all affixed with high-shine gold and diamonds galore. Rodriguez’s other red carpet moments are equally as impressive. Ahead, take a look at some of Georgina Rodriguez’s best style moments over the years.
