This week’s roundup of staffing changes on Parliament Hill.
We start this week’s Hill Movers with a look at the minister of finance’s office.

Francesco Sorbara is bidding farewell to Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne and his team.
Sorbara was the senior policy advisor for the Department of Finance from September to March 2026.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the experience and the opportunity to collaborate with such a dedicated and talented group under the Minister’s leadership, ‘squarely’ focused on building a strong and resilient Canadian economy,” Sorbara wrote in a post on LinkedIn.
Before joining Champagne and his department, Sorbara served as an MP representing Vaughan-Woodbridge for nine years.
“As I continue to recover from shoulder surgery, I’m energized and optimistic about what’s ahead, and I’ll have news to share in due time about my next steps,” Sorbara wrote.

Also — Suki Randhawa is starting a new role as tour support in Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s office.
Randhawa previously served as administrative assistant to MP Kathy Borrelli, representing riding of Windsor-Tecumseh-Lakeshore.
“I am glad to be returning to Parliament Hill and excited for this new chapter,” Randhawa wrote.
