Fire Emblem is back! Fortune’s Weave is right around the corner, and in the run-up to its release on 17th September, Nintendo is rolling out the character introductions.
Just like in previous series entries, we’d wager that team building will play a huge part in the next adventure, so we’ve assembled the following guide for you to keep track of every Fortune’s Weave character revealed so far.
We’ve included an image of each character, accompanied by a small blurb as shared on Nintendo Today. So, let’s start thinking about who we might want on our roster.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave – Main Characters
Fortune’s Weave beefs up the Three Houses format with four main protagonists. Here’s an introduction to each of them.
Cai

A lively boy who is motivated by love for his family. He takes naturally to battlefield action.
Dietrich

A foreign swordsman who duels to slake his thirst. His blade bathes his foes in a deadly light.
Leda

A dancer and player of enchanting music, she avoids counterattacks with ease and grace.
Theodora

The dauntless queen of Saramis. Her unyielding resolve allows her to rise to any challenge.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave – Support Characters
Of course, you’ll have to build a team of other heroes, too. Here is an introduction to every support character revealed so far, in alphabetical order.
Bonaventure

A mastermind of Saramis, wielder of blades and magic. An expert on the Saraminian history and folklore.
Buccar

A veteran guardian compared to a demon bear, because he’s so impervious to enemy attacks.
Esmeralda

A strong young woman who can stand up to any foe. However heavy the armour, she wears it lightly.
Fabio

An enigmatic missionary skilled in dark magic. His special techniques break the enemy’s will to fight.
Lilian

An archer with reliable aim who is particularly adept at attacking enemies who are unable to counter.
Lysander

An excellent knight who uses his speed in battle. He excels at closing the distance and striking first.

Sirocco

An enigmatic bard adept with swords, magic and a variety of weapons.
Tialla

A tactical genius whose skilful strategising lets her put allies’ abilities to good use.
