The Miami Dolphins played their last preseason game of 2026 on Friday, as they took on the Atlanta Falcons at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, but now they have to turn their attention to the regular season.
Before Week 1, the Dolphins, like the other 31 teams across the league, have to trim their rosters down from 90 or 91 players to 53 by the NFL’s deadline at 6:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, August 30.

That’s a rather quick turnaround, so let’s get an idea of who Miami could keep for their first season under Jeff Hafley. Here’s our final 53-man roster projection.
