Emily Ratajkowski has never been particularly shy about the illusion naked dress. At the 2026 Albies in London on Friday, the model covered herself from head-to-toe in Gucci, trading bare skin for sheer black mesh and strategically placed floral sequins.

Ratajkowski attended the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s annual gala at the Natural History Museum with boyfriend Romain Gavras, wearing a long-sleeved, floor-length gown with a high, rounded neckline and a small train extending behind her.

Up close, the dark sequins formed an intricate pattern across the transparent fabric, with larger floral-shaped arrangements positioned over her bust and hips. Smaller embellishments continued down the fitted sleeves and skirt, catching the light against the black mesh.
She kept her accessories to a minimum, wearing her long brunette hair loose with a center part. Smoky eye makeup and a nude lip finished the sultry look.

Ratajkowski wasn’t the only guest in Gucci that evening. The Italian fashion house was a sponsor of this year’s Albies, and host Amal Clooney wore a shimmering gold gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline, rows of sequins and long beaded fringe. Ratajkowski wasn’t the only star to opt for a sheer look, either — Ines de Ramon wore a sage-hued, off-the-shoulder sheer dress while attending the event with boyfriend Brad Pitt.

The appearance also marked another outing for Ratajkowski in Demna’s Gucci. In February, she walked the designer’s first runway show for the house during Milan Fashion Week, wearing a silver rhinestone-covered minidress with thin straps, matching pointed-toe pumps and a coordinating bag. Later that evening, she changed into a fitted black Gucci dress with horsebit chain detailing for the label’s post-show dinner, which she attended with Gavras.

The Albies look continued a particularly revealing stretch of red carpet dressing for Ratajkowski. Less than two weeks earlier, she accompanied Gavras to the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in a black-and-red knit gown by George Trochopoulos, featuring dramatic cutouts that extended from her shoulders toward her hips. Where that dress exposed large sections of skin, Friday’s Gucci gown offered nearly full coverage in a considerably more transparent fabric.

Gavras, meanwhile, wore a white suit beneath a long black coat for Friday’s gala, finishing his outfit with black leather loafers featuring metal hardware.

Now in its fifth year, the Albies were established by George and Amal Clooney to recognize individuals and organizations fighting for justice and human rights. This year’s honorees included American photojournalist Lynsey Addario, Malawian girls’ rights advocate Vanessa Mwangala and Kyrgyz journalists Bolot Temirov and Makhabat Tazhibek Kyzy.
