Embedding with the state troopers carrying out Trump’s immigration crackdown


EUFAULA, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper leaned into the passenger side door of a black car along Highway 69 as vehicles roared by. He had just checked the driver’s name with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. Now the trooper was going to take him into custody.
