Peacock is home to some of the most addictive original reality series out there, including The Traitors, Love Island and House of Villains. It’s also the streaming home to Bravo franchises such as The Real Housewives, Summer House and Top Chef. And while the platform boasts a fantastic roster of unscripted TV, you can also find incredible scripted shows like The Miniature Wife, The Five Star Weekend and more.
With its vast library spanning every genre and an expanding slate of original and exclusive content, it seems like there’s always something new to try — or old favorites to rediscover. One of the most anticipated shows of the fall, Crystal Lake, will premiere on Peacock, and we couldn’t be more excited. The series is a prequel to the Friday the 13th films and stars Linda Cardellini as Pam Voorhees, mother of Jason, the hockey-mask-wearing killer, who might be just as terrifying as her son.
That show arrives alongside several great films that will be available exclusively on Peacock this month, including Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, Minions & Monsters and more. Here’s a look at what we’re excited to stream on Peacock this month.
Oct. 9

Disclosure Day (2026)
Steven Spielberg’s most recent sci-fi epic, Disclosure Day, was a huge hit when it arrived in theaters earlier this summer, and the film will now be available to stream exclusively on Peacock starting Oct. 9. Emily Blunt leads the ensemble cast playing a meteorologist working with a cybersecurity specialist played by Josh O’Connor to expose the existence of extraterrestrial life. Colin Firth plays the government contractor on their trail, trying to silence them. The cast also includes Colman Domingo, Eve Hewson and Wyatt Russell.

PeacockCrystal Lake (Season 1)
Friday the 13th is one of the most iconic slasher franchises, and this month, you can actually catch the original Friday the 13th movie trilogy on Peacock starting Thursday to prepare for Crystal Lake, the new series that serves as a prequel to the films. Crystal Lake stars Linda Cardellini as Pam Voorhees, a grieving mother whose son Jason drowned the year before. (Showrunner Brad Caleb Kane revealed during production that the shooting title of the show was, hilariously, Mama’s Boy.) But when a couple of strangers start digging into Pam’s past, it turns out she’s got some secrets she might not want getting out. Crystal Lake will binge-drop on Peacock on Oct. 15, so all eight hour-long episodes will arrive at once.
Oct. 28

Minions & Monsters (2026)
Minions & Monsters was another massive summer hit that arrives exclusively on Peacock this month. The film earned broad acclaim, veering away from the world of Gru and the Minions we’re already familiar with and instead focusing on something completely different: Hollywood. In this film, a new batch of Minions becomes silent-film stars and, when sound is introduced, has to find a way to stay relevant despite the fact that they literally speak their own language. So, they decide to make a monster movie. Pierre Coffin voices all the Minions, and the voice cast also includes Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jeff Bridges and Jesse Eisenberg.
