Diablo IV’s 30th Anniversary Diablo Celebrations Get Off To A Bumpy Start

Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection arrives on the Switch 2 this week alongside the new season, but there have been some teething issues, including a temporary season delay.

If you have been experiencing any problems accessing the game and new season, it’s not an isolated issue. Blizzard even shared the following notice about these issues on its forums. Fortunately, it seems the worst of these problems have now been resolved.

Admittedly, it’s not the first time in Blizzard’s history a Diablo launch hasn’t got off to the best start.

We’re aware of an issue preventing some players from logging in. The team is investigating and working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

We appreciate your patience and will share updates as soon as they are available.

As already noted, the launch of this game on the Switch 2 coincides with the arrival of Season of Hell’s Legacy. This particular season marks the “pinnacle of Diablo’s 30th anniversary celebration” and sees the return of Deckard Cain. You’ll also relive “epic battles and iconic encounters” from past Diablo titles.

You can find out more details in our previous story. Blizzard has also shared the performance and resolution for the Switch 2 version of the game.
