Devon Lee Carlson’s Frankies Bikinis Collaboration Is Here

As soon as I saw Devon Lee Carlson post about her new collaboration with Frankies Bikinis, I knew I had to shop it fast before it sold out at today’s highly anticipated launch on August 4.

Carlson, a long-time friend of Frankies Bikinis founder Francesca Aiello, has been frequently seen in the L.A. brand’s swimwear for many years, so it makes perfect sense they’d finally work together. The collection, Sunshine Girls, captures the joyful, sun-shiny aesthetic Carlson is known for. Inspired by their personal closets and a shared love for archival fashion, the capsule has vintage-inspired silhouettes referencing the 1950s, 1970s, and early 2000s, including Frankies’ first-ever pair of low-rise jeans. Throughout the designs, there’s a mix of florals, stripes, chiffons, silks, and sequins. Even as a minimalist dresser, I’m eyeing a leopard slip that’s making me consider wearing animal print.
