This week, we found rock-bottom rates on economy flights to Tahiti, the largest island in French Polynesia, from the fall of 2026 through the spring of 2027. These months fall in the island’s shoulder season and rainy season, making it a great time to save money at world-class resorts and experience Tahiti without the crowds — as long as you don’t mind the occasional shower.
Even better, you can save a few thousand more points on your flight by taking advantage of a limited-time transfer bonus from Capital One to Qantas.

How to find and book TPG’s deal of the day
We recommend starting your search with the handy Seats.aero tool to narrow down your options. Then, head to the airline’s website to confirm award availability and book your tickets.

Qantas has partner flights between LAX and PPT on Air Tahiti Nui for just 29,000 points each way in economy. If you’re not based in Los Angeles, consider booking a positioning flight to take advantage of this deal; you could even use points and miles to cover your domestic flight as well.
We found this deal on various dates throughout October, November and December 2026, and there’s wide-open availability throughout the first few months of 2027.

Even better, Capital One is offering a 20% transfer bonus to Qantas through May 31 — meaning you could transfer just 25,000 Capital One miles to your Qantas account to earn the 29,000 points needed to book a one-way flight. If you don’t have Capital One miles, you can also transfer Amex Membership Rewards points and Citi ThankYou Rewards to Qantas at a 1:1 ratio.
Just remember that transfers are irreversible, so always confirm award availability with the airline before transferring your rewards.
