Dead by Daylight is getting another Attack on Titan crossover, as well as a returning fan-favourite game mode

A Dead by Daylight game mode is making a return, as part of an upcoming crossover with popular anime Attack on Titan.

The 2v8 game mode, a limited-time twist on the regular format which doubles the play count on both the killer and survivor teams, is a more chaotic approach as maps are full of action and desperate attempts to escape a gruesome end.

This is far from the first Dead by Daylight crossover.Watch on YouTube

This 2v8 mode will be available to play between the 28th April and 19th May. As for the Attack on Titan crossover, returning cosmetics from the initial 2022 Attack on Titan crossover will be available to players.

In addition, a legendary costume for The Trapper is being added which will make him a towering titan. Jake Park is getting the Cleaning Levi costume, Yui Kimura will get Mikasa’s dark uniform, and Thalita Lyre will get Sasha’s uniform. All three of these are very rare cosmetics, so best in luck to those hoping to get them all.

On top of all that, survivors Renato Lyra, Adam Francis, Mikaela Reid, and Haddie Kaur will all receive the Queen’s Ball Attire Outfit, with Feng Min and Meg Thomas getting the Heart of Freedom Outfit. To wrap all this in a bow, the Attack on Titan lobby is making a return.

The 2v8 mode will be tweaked with some killer-specific buffs to make it a touch more enjoyable. The Deathslinger is getting some buffs, while The Oni is getting nerfed. All of this should be handy given some fresh new Attack on Titans quest being added to the game to coincide with this update.

So it’s a pretty sizable little event, certainly worth swinging by to check out.
