Current offers on the World of Hyatt credit cards

If you want to save money and enjoy solid perks on an upcoming stay at a Hyatt property, the World of Hyatt personal and business cards can help you save money and enjoy solid perks during your trip.

The World of Hyatt program is known for offering some of the best redemption rates in the industry, along with a diverse portfolio of distinctive hotel brands.

Let’s dive into these offers and help you decide whether to apply.

World of Hyatt Business Credit Card

With the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card (see rates and fees), new cardholders can currently earn 70,000 bonus points after spending $7,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.

THE POINTS GUY

Based on TPG’s August 2026 valuations, this bonus is worth $1,120. This isn’t the highest offer we’ve seen on the card, but it meets our criteria of when to apply. In fact, we generally recommend applying whenever the welcome offer exceeds 60,000 points.

The card’s best-ever 80,000-point offer required $10,000 in spending (no longer available), so the current 70,000-point bonus may be more attainable for business owners who don’t want to commit to such a high spending requirement.

Annual fee: $199

Earning rates:

  • Up to 9 points per dollar spent on Hyatt stays (4 points per dollar spent on qualifying purchases at Hyatt hotels and 5 points per dollar spent as a World of Hyatt member)
  • 2 points per dollar spent on fitness club and gym membership purchases

Cardholders also earn 2 points per dollar spent in their top three spending categories each quarter with no spending cap. These categories include:

  • Airline tickets purchased directly from an airline
  • Car rental agencies
  • Dining
  • Gas stations
  • Internet, cable and phone services
  • Local transit and commuting
  • Shipping
  • Social media and search engine advertising

The points-earning rates will be adjusted automatically on the categories where you spend the most each quarter, so there’s no need to select your preferred categories.

Beyond the bonus categories, you’ll earn 1 point per dollar spent on all purchases.

Why we like it: Hyatt loyalists who own a business can find value in the card’s up to $100 in Hyatt statement credits each anniversary year (spend $50 and receive a $50 statement credit, up to two times) and the ability to gift Discoverist status to up to five employees.

You’ll also earn five tier-qualifying nights for every $10,000 you spend on the card in a calendar year.

World of Hyatt Credit Card

New cardholders of the World of Hyatt Credit Card (see rates and fees) can earn up to 75,000 points: 45,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening and up to 30,000 more bonus points by earning 2 bonus points total per $1 spent in the first six months from account opening on purchases that normally earn 1 point, on up to $15,000 spent.

This offer ends soon, so don’t wait any longer to apply if you’re interested.

THE POINTS GUY

Based on TPG’s valuations, this bonus is worth up to $1,200. This is the highest points-based offer we’ve seen on the card in recent years, although earning the full bonus requires substantially more spending than some previous offers. Still, it exceeds our recommended 60,000-point threshold for when to apply.

Annual fee: $95

Earning rates:

  • Up to 9 points per dollar spent on Hyatt stays (4 points per dollar spent on qualifying purchases at Hyatt hotels and 5 points per dollar spent as a World of Hyatt member)
  • 2 points per dollar spent on tickets purchased directly from an airline, fitness club and gym memberships, local transit and commuting and at restaurants
  • 1 point per dollar spent on everything else

Why we like it: This card has valuable ongoing perks, the best of which is an annual free night certificate at a Category 1-4 Hyatt property, which you’ll receive after every account anniversary. You’ll also get a second free night after spending $15,000 in a calendar year.

Why should you get a Hyatt card?

Both the World of Hyatt personal and business cards offer plenty of benefits for Hyatt loyalists. In fact, the Hyatt personal card ranks among the top picks of TPG staffers.

Having either card automatically grants you Discoverist status, which includes benefits such as late checkout, preferred rooms and a 10% points bonus on eligible purchases. Spending on either card can also earn you additional elite-qualifying nights.

You’ll also enjoy several travel protections, such as baggage delay insurance, lost luggage reimbursement and trip interruption and cancellation insurance.

Plus, the personal card comes with a free night certificate every anniversary year (valid at Category 1-4 properties), which is extremely valuable for any Hyatt enthusiast.

Bottom line

There’s much to love about both World of Hyatt credit cards, even if you don’t frequently stay at Hyatt hotels. The personal and business cards feature several perks that can easily cover their reasonable annual fees.

The cards are also offering generous welcome bonuses that we value at over $1,000 each, making now a good time to apply. The welcome offer on the consumer World of Hyatt card ends soon, though, so don’t wait too long to apply.
