Crimson Desert’s latest patch is good news for all you moneygrubs, as it adds in a bounty of new trading posts and goods to pawn off

It feels kind of alarming that Crimson Desert is continuing to put out such regular patches months on from its release. There seems to be something new practically every week! And this week is no different, as another update has arrived in the action RPG that will please the moneygrubs out there.

Essentially this update is focused on trading, and making doing so a lot easier. The first point of order in taking this step is the addition of 133 new trading posts, which includes the merchant at the Pailune Trading Post. Some of these apparently open up after making your way through certain quests. You’ll also find that the kinds and quantities of goods you can come across at trading posts will be adjusted, and you’ll also make more money at posts that are harder to get to by wagon. Besides that, trading too much of one item affects the trading price as well, ya greedy little imp.

To help satiate your greed, however, the other notable element of this update is the addition of 24 new types of high-value and four new types of regular goods to be pawned off. Packaged goods can also be stacked up to a total of 10 or 100, depending on how much they cost, and you’re also able to just sell a single trade good if you’re just looking for a quick bit of cash. And to make physically shifting your goods easier, you can move them between your wagon and your horse.

Speaking of the wagon, there’s seven new wagon workshops around Pywel that can act as intermediate trading posts. Workshops will also let you package and load trade goods now too. A few quality of life improvements come with this update too, like wagon routes showing up on the minimap when riding one, a trade tab being added to the map, and the maximum number of gold bars that can be gained or lost through bank interest has been set to 40.

There are a bevy of other tweaks, fixes, and additions alongside all of the above, which can be read about in the full patch notes.
