Code Vein 2 is just a few short weeks away now, and to celebrate, Bandai Namco has dropped an all-new teaser trailer entitled “The Blinded Resurgence Offspring”.

Described as “a lamentable creature whose vision has long since faded”, The Blinded Resurgence Offspring wields a Katana to “strike the Revenant Hunter with unseen swiftness”.

“A lamentable creature with vision lost to time – The Blinded Resurgence Offspring wields a great Katana, striking with unseen swiftness,” the publisher teased. “Will you put an end to its suffering?”

It’s the latest in a number of character reveals for the game, including revenant doctor Holly Asturias, who runs a secluded forest clinic and wields healing powers of the Luxuria Bloodline, and Valentin Voda, the heir to the Voda House is descended from the Progenitor and is one of the “most formidable bloodlines among their kind”.

Code Vein 2 was revealed at Summer Game Fest. A sequel to the vampire gothic soulslike that gained a respectable following, it’ll be coming in 2026 to PS5, Xbox, and Steam on 30th January, 2026. You can pre-order and/or wishlist it now.
