While not nominated tonight, Chloe Bailey put her best foot forward in a pair of lofty sandal heels while in attendance at the 2026 MTV VMAs.

The “Better Than She Can” singer’s footwear was a platform style featuring champagne-colored satin uppers. The silhouette featured a cage-like toe band, a thick platform sole and an ankle strap that secured in place with adjustable buckle closures. 4- to 5-inch stiletto heels rounded out the set.

Stuart Weitzman, Jimmy Choo, House of Harlow and Prada all feature similar silhouettes to Bailey’s own.

Platform shoes are a favorite of Bailey’s, along with other celebrities like Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomze, Jenna Ortega, Keke Palmer and Demi Moore, among others. At the MTV VMAs, Lisa Rinna, Rei Ami, Ciara Miller, Emma Bunton (aka Baby Spice of the Spice Girls) and other stars opted for the silhouette on the (blue) red carpet.

Accompanying her platform sandals, the “Strung” actress sported an ornimental gown that was heavily embellished with silver beading, making the garment shimmer. Every inch was covered in sequins, gemstones or some kind of beading, while the majority of the garment was crafted of a sheer mesh fabric. Cut-outs imparted drama while the heavily bejeweld sleeves amped up the shine, looking almost like armor.

The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards returned to Los Angeles on Sunday at the Peacock Theater, marking the show’s first West Coast edition since 2017. Snoop Dogg hosts the ceremony, which airs live on CBS and MTV and streams on Paramount+. Madonna, this year’s most-nominated artist, is set to open the show, while Nirvana will receive the Video Vanguard Award and Taylor Swift will be honored with MTV’s inaugural Artist Director Honors.
