At some point after a busy first official day of shows, everyone needs a french fry. And luckily, Chanel had that arranged: the brand took over Balthazar on Thursday evening for a party to celebrate the debut of Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu, a new fragrance fronted by Gracie Abrams.
The crowd was heavy on of-the-moment young stars, including “Sterling Point” actors Ella Rubin, Keen Ruffalo and Amélie Hoeferle; “Euphoria” breakout Anna Van Patten; “Saturday Night Live” cast members Marcello Hernandez, Sarah Sherman and Veronika Slowikowska; actors Nick Robinson, Lux Pascal, Adam DiMarco, Hayes Warner; Knicks player Tyler Kolek, as well as Coco Jones, Amber Mark, Janicza Bravo, Olivia Jade, Kai Schreiber, Vivian Wilson, Paloma Elsesser, Imaan Hammam and more.

After posing for photos outside on Spring Street, the crowd sprawled out inside Balthazar, where cocktails and snacks flowed. Downstairs, a phone booth photo moment drew a line, and nearing 8:30 p.m. guests turned their attention to the built-out stage.
“We’re thrilled to be here tonight,” New Zealand-based indie rock band Balu Brigada told the room ahead of their surprise set. In response, the crowd settled into the red leather benches, sat back and grabbed another round of fries.
