Football’s ultimate club showdown plays out at the Puskás Aréna on Saturday. Newly crowned English Premier League winner Arsenal faces a Paris Saint-Germain team looking to claim consecutive UEFA Champions League titles in this much-anticipated final.

The Champions League remains elusive for the Gunners, who came close under Arsene Wenger 20 years ago. After wrapping up the EPL title with one game to spare, manager Mikel Arteta has been able to rest some key players in the week leading up to today’s showpiece final as they pursue a rare domestic and European double.

A win for the North Londoners would mark a clean sweep of European competitions for English teams. Crystal Palace won the Europa Conference League on Wednesday, following Aston Villa’s triumph last week in the Europa League, further underlining the EPL’s growing dominance.

Reigning French Ligue 1 champs PSG, meanwhile, are bidding to become the first club other than Real Madrid to claim back-to-back UCL titles. A scintillating showing against German giant Bayern Munich in the semifinals underlines PSG’s status as the favorite to retain the famous trophy.

Arsenal take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, on Saturday, May 30. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CEST in Hungary, which is 5 p.m. BST in the UK. In the US and Canada, it’s a 12 p.m. ET or 9 a.m. PT kickoff, while it’s a 2 a.m. AEST start in Australia early on Sunday.

How to watch the UEFA Champions League final with a VPN

If you’re traveling abroad and want to keep up with the action from Budapest while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming.

It encrypts your traffic and prevents your internet service provider from throttling your speeds. Additionally, it can be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, providing an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins. VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security.

However, some streaming services may have policies restricting VPN use to access region-specific content. If you’re considering a VPN for streaming, check the platform’s terms of service to ensure compliance.

If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider’s installation instructions to ensure you’re connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN use is crucial.
