VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — While Canadian home prices declined overall in the first half this year, the story gets widely variable when you look deeper, down to the local level. While Vancouver condo prices declined almost 15 per cent in the first half of the year and Toronto condos almost eight per cent, the price of a detached house in Regina, Saskatchewan, surged 13 per cent – though to a price per square foot still well under half that of a Vancouver or Toronto condo.
