In short-track speedskating, the mixed team relay race is one of the most exciting events at the Olympics. Teams of four skaters go head-to-head in a tight oval rink, and their teammates, who race in front of them to take their place, get pushed by the posterior to give them a little bump to help them continue racing, until the next one comes in.
