Caitlin Clark traded in her sneakers for a pair of beautiful deep brown heels while out in New York on Aug. 22. The Indiana Fever star was spotted alongside her teammates Kelsey Mitchell, Bree Hall, Lexie Hull, Raven Johnson and Mercedes Russell.
The point guard went sans athletic wear, sporting a pair of chocolate brown Prada heels from the brand’s fall/winter 2026 collection. The silhouette currently retails for $1,650 and features faux distressing across the uppers and toe box, making these heels look lived-in. The sharp pointed toes of this designer style are adorned with lace-up detailing, a subtle nod to the lacing of a corset.

The designer style was complete with branded brown Prada laces and short and thick 2 to 3-inch heels. The original silhouette released featured bright green laces. It seems Clark and/or her stylist switched them out for a more monochrome look. Beyond brown, these antiqued Prada heels also come in black and bone with their own colorful laces. According to Prada’s website, the shoes are meant to “reflect a dialog between contrasting aesthetics, where tapered yet distinct lines meet masculine details from the outdoor world.”
To match her chosen footwear, the basketball star opted for a full Prada ensemble consisting of a brown low back one-piece bathing suit repurposed as a bodysuit layered under distressed cream high-waisted jeans. Clark’s denim featured unique distressing, looking as if the denim was once white and stained with coffee. As for accessories, the athlete donned a silver Lié Studio The Margaret necklace dotted with diamonds throughout.

When Clark isn’t wearing heels, she can be found sporting her signature Nike shoe, the Caitlin 1, along with Nike’s Kobe 5 and Kobe 6 Protro series. In July, Clark revealed a “Snow White” colorway of her signature kicks with Nike. The style consisted of textured white uppers and blue metallic accents.
