Instead of fighting antisemitism, however, he argues that we should “invest in our Jewishness,” including Jewish day schools, cultural institutions, philanthropic organizations, publishing houses and news outlets, because “Jewish thriving happens not when there are a lot of rich and successful and well-integrated Jews,” but when Jewish identity becomes “the centring fact of life, the source from which we derive meaning and purpose, our spiritual compass and moral anchor and emotional safe harbour.”
