MILAN — An array of diverse personalities front Stone Island’s fall 2026 ad campaign, its most starry yet.
Three-time WNBA champion, two-time WNBA MVP and Olympic gold medalist Breanna Stewart leads the first contingent of stars, which includes World Champion table tennis player Xu Xin; DJ and watch dealer Adrian Douzmanian; filmmaker Nick Love, as well as photographer and Hugan Books founder Simjae.
Images were shot by David Sims in Stone Island’s signature campaign design with talents standing against a bright white backdrop. Stewart, who is also the cofounder of Unrivaled, the women’s 3-on-3 basketball league, sports a mixed-media track jacket crafted from organic cotton and nylon patch pockets.
The campaign is part of the brand’s “Community as a Form of Research” project, which spotlights talents from different fields that are part of its community.
Subsequent installments of the ad campaign, slated to be released throughout the fall, will feature British rappers Fakemink and Skepta; music collective 3House; British actor Stephen Graham; architect and designer Samir Bantal; German gallerist Monika Sprüth, and Chinese filmmaker Jia Zhangke.

Talents are clad in Stone Island’s research-intensive fall 2026 gear, including a resin-brushed, heat-pressed, garment-dyed hooded jacket for Fakemink and a similar style crafted from olive green nylon Oxford for Skepta.
Each portrait in the fall campaign is flanked by a short, written interview with the talents, who are posed fireside questions conceived by curator and cultural critic Hans Ulrich Obrist, the artistic director of London’s Serpentine Gallery.
The talents answer questions as disparate as the preferred mode of transport — “the subway,” Stewart said — their favorite city in the world, to which Fakemink responded that “nowhere on Earth holds a candle to London,” or the best way to clear one’s mind, which for Skepta is driving at nighttime.

Stone Island first introduced the “Community as a Form of Research” campaign concept for the spring 2024 season. In the past, ads have been fronted by Liam Gallagher from Oasis; DJ and producer Peggy Gou; actor and curator Russell Tovey, and skateboarder Sage Elsesser, among many others.
