Five years on, Skelly remains a firm favorite for Halloween haunts. Released as part of Home Depot’s Halloween decor, the mammoth skeleton affectionately referred to as Skelly stands 12 feet tall and has gone viral multiple times, selling out every time new stock is released.
Home Depot is launching its 2026 Halloween collection today, July 16, with plenty of animatronics and other Halloween gear that are sure to get you hyped for the holiday, including an updated Skelly.
This year, the fan favorite is getting a refresh, with app-enabled upgrades that let you customize this spooky giant to your macabre heart’s content. You’ll control head and mouth movements with servo motors and speak through the animatronic in real time via Bluetooth, making it an interactive highlight for trick-or-treaters.
Additionally, you can record up to 30 sounds for Skelly. Plus, you can now choose from 20 different LCD effects. That includes options like heart eyes — which could be fun for Valentine’s Day — along with other exciting presets so you can keep Skelly around your yard year-round.
This new servo edition of Skelly costs $379 and is only available online. It’s likely to sell out fast, so be sure to lock in your order soon.
