Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat against Australia
Bangladesh captain Towhid Hridoy chose to bat first against Australia in the third T20I in Chattogram. Hridoy said that he took the decision as they are on a used pitch.
Australia have already clinched the series after wins in the opening two matches and have gone with an unchanged XI.
The home side dropped Soumya Sarkar and Abdul Gaffar Saqlain, and rested Mustafizur Rahman. They have brought in Shoriful Islam, Taskin Ahmed and Nurul Hasan.
After clinching the series two days ago, Australia captain Mitchell Marsh said he was keen to secure the sweep. “On the whole, for the white-ball groups, it’s been a reasonably tough tour. Coming to these places with a fairly inexperienced side always provides you with different challenges and experiences. So, yeah, we are really keen to finish off with a win before everyone gets home.”
