The Los Angeles Angels has Zach Neto to thank for their Monday’s 2-1 win against the Athletics. Neto, who started the season slow, is picking up the slack at the plate and he recently powered the Angels with a walk-off win.

A’s ace J.T. Ginn went out for the ninth inning, looking to complete the league’s first no-hitter of this season. In eight innings before, he had given up only one walk while punching out 10 hitters. However, Neto washed those plans of Ginn.

Ginn first allowed a single to Adam Frazier. Neto came to the plate and he dispatched the right-hander’s 94 mph sinker for a 413 ft. home run to center field. It was his eighth home run of the season and spoiled in what could be this season’s first complete game effort.
