Angelino responds to rumors about his health: “Don’t believe everything people say.”

After months of absence, Angelino finally got back to the pitch, returning to the pitch in the final minutes of Roma’s match against Panathinaikos.

The Spanish full-back had last played against Verona in late September.

After the match against the Gialloblu, he was struck by asthmatic bronchitis, which sidelined him for several months.

His long absence had sparked much speculation, especially about his physical condition and the reasons for his withdrawal from competition.

In particular, an article in TodoMercatoWeb, a Spanish newspaper, speculated that the former Leipzig defender had returned to the field only after dealing with serious health problems.

Angelino promptly denied these rumors, firmly responding to the Spanish media: “Serious health problems? We don’t believe everything people say.”

His appearance yesterday shows that the Spaniard is slowly returning to his former form. This is good news for Gasperini, who could have an additional weapon to use on the flank for the second half of the season.
