Amal Clooney Shines in Gold from Head-to-toe at the 2026 Albies

Amal Clooney brought a head-to-toe gold look to the 2026 Albies hosted by the Clooney Foundation for Justice on Friday, completing her look with slingback pumps. The annual event, held this year at the Natural History Museum in London, honors individuals and groups who put their lives at risk in pursuit of justice.

Clooney paired a shimmering Gucci dress — the Italian house joined the event as the exclusive fashion partner this year — with a slingback pump showcasing a classic silhouette. The style featured a sharp pointed toe, low-cut vamp and tapered slingback strap. A straight stiletto heel elevated the set by a few inches.

Clooney’s shoes speak to the ongoing metallic shoe trend, a go-to choice for events.

More celebrities have embraced the high-shine aesthetic recently, including Jessica Chastain in Christian Louboutin Rosa Z sandals and Tate McRae in Saint Laurent Babylone sandals; the two stars modeled their respective dainty gold sandals while attending separate events on Thursday.

At the Albies, Clooney’s gold shoes created a full metallic look in concert with her sequined Gucci dress, which was an off-the-shoulder design featuring a fitted bodice and tonal fringe skirt cascading with a waterfall effect to the floor.

The human rights lawyer was joined by her husband George Clooney, with whom she founded the Albies. He dressed up in a black Gucci tuxedo for the occasion.
