For spring 2027, Alessandra Rich turned her Mount Street apartment into an art-filled boudoir where clothes and objects coexisted, each piece hinting at the inner life of a woman whose taste in art informs how she dresses.

The designer invited a tight circle of female artist friends including Alma Berrow, Anissa Kermiche, Alexandra Gordienko and Polina Osipova, who loaned works for her intimate, a little messy, and unmistakably lived-in setting.

“It’s a woman who is surrounded by things that she likes to collect, and they have, for sure, a connection with the artist as well,” said Rich, also an avid collector. A nude woman with pink pubic hair captured by Italian photographer Guen Fiore from her personal collection was on display alongside Kermiche’s curvaceous “Iron Ladies,” metal chairs and cigarette-butt ceramics by Berrow.

Against this backdrop, Rich doubled down on daywear. Cotton jacquards, silk with mini floral motifs and shiny nylon-thread fabrics made the collection feel outdoorsy, echoing the lookbook imagery shot in and around a friend’s mansion outside Milan. Apron dresses, minidresses with bustier details, and quilted sets with high slits carried her signature sensuality, but with a lighter, “garden party” ease.

Silhouettes were more exposed, but done tastefully. Straps were thinner than usual, backs often left bare, while the evening offering — with a feather-trimmed black velvet gown being a standout — felt equally elevated and composed.
