Air Jordan 10 Retro Hydrangeas Release Date IQ0388-101

After arriving in two original colorways in 2025, one of Michael Jordan’s retirement sneakers will soon be released in a new women’s-exclusive style.

Arriving in February is the Air Jordan 10 Retro Hydrangeas, which gets its nickname from its Chalk/Hydrangeas/Wild Grape color combination. The pair is a premium execution of Jordan’s tenth signature model, replacing the typical nylon lace loops with nubuck.

The two-tone look is colored in a creamy Chalk leather upper, while the spring-friendly Hydrangeas purple shade fills in the upper half including the tongue, collar, heel tab and lacing components. Dashes of Wild Grape are sprinkled on the insole and outsole branding, as well as highlighting Jordan’s 1991 Most Valuable Player award and championship win on the outsole’s signature scroll of accolades. The significance behind the ’91 achievement isn’t immediately clear and could simply be a design choice.

The Air Jordan 10 originally released in 1994 during a period of uncertainty around Jordan’s future. The NBA legend had retired from the sport of basketball just months earlier, which is what inspired the outsole’s career recap. Upon his March 1995 return to the league, he would briefly wear various Air Jordan 10s, while also donning the uniform number 45 instead of his usual 23.

In ’25, the Air Jordan 10 was released in its original Shadow and Steel styles, the latter coming with an obscure toe cap detail which Jordan himself once demanded be removed from the shoe. For last year’s release, the controversial detail was included as a nod to creator Tinker Hatfield’s first design. And later this year, the model’s original Sacramento style is expected to be reissued for the first time ever.

Not everyone will be able to wear the upcoming Air Jordan 10 Retro Hydrangeas, as the pair will come exclusively in women’s sizing. The sneaker is set to be released on Feb. 12 for a retail price of $205 from nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers globally. Its style code is IQ0388-101.
