Canada’s Jewish community is once again reeling after the latest round of violence targeting Jewish-owned businesses. This comes as new data reveals the scope of the growing antisemitism problem in both Canada and other western nations. But this crisis is also a national security threat, amid terror charges, disrupted terror plots and evidence of a foreign-funded “guns-for-hire” scheme. Shack warns that we’re seeing a disturbing convergence of extremist ideology, foreign interference and a normalization of political violence.
