Sales at Me+Em Surge 29%, With a Pair of Trousers Sold Every Minute

LONDON – Me+Em, the British womenswear brand that counts Queen Camilla of England as a client, saw sales and profits grow in the high double-digits last year on the back of strong demand in the U.S., where the company now has eight stores.

Me+Em has also revealed that its private equity backer Highland Europe, which first invested in 2022, has increased its investment, “underscoring its confidence in the brand and its growth trajectory.”

According to the latest company accounts, revenues in the 12 months to Jan. 31, 2026 increased by 29 percent to 190 million pounds, driven by continued global expansion.

U.S. revenue rose by 39 percent to 65 million pounds driven by “significant” double digit online sales growth and the opening of three new stores in the region. Growth was fueled by the brand’s omnichannel strategy during a year which saw the opening of new stores in Greenwich, Conn., and on North Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills, CA.

The company added that all U.S. stores were profitable in their first year of trading and drove “significant” like-for-like sales growth in year two. Over the last three-year period, the group’s active U.S. customer base has nearly quadrupled, with VIP customers growing at an even faster rate.

EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, rose 53 percent to 37 million pounds, while operating profit was up 30 percent to 26 million pounds. Gross profit rose 28 percent to 105 million pounds.

Me+Em said the group’s revenue and EBITDA has more than tripled in four years.

The company said the growth came from a “disciplined focus on international expansion and operational excellence, with the customer kept firmly at the heart of every decision.”

During the year it expanded key categories including trousers, accessories and occasion wear. The group also saw heightened customer loyalty and “industry-leading” repeat buy rates, with 46 percent of all customers placing a second order.

Tailored classics have been a particular hit with almost half of the group’s active customer base purchasing trousers. Over the full year, Me+Em sold a pair of trousers every minute.

Me+Em added that strong trading momentum has continued into the current year, with rolling 12 month global revenue growing 24 percent year-on-year to 215 million pounds, with total U.S. revenue growing 48 percent to 84 million pounds during the same period.

International expansion continues at pace. Me+Em has more U.S. stores in the pipeline, in Houston and Los Angeles, and further retail expansion in Europe planned. Me+Em’s first permanent store will open in Paris in the second half of 2027.

Clare Hornby, founder and CEO, said the brand “has always been passionate about democratizing luxury for busy women of all ages. Strong revenue growth, and accelerating demand for our clothes globally, tells us there is a genuine appetite for our British modern luxury proposition. We see a huge opportunity ahead of us as we move into this next chapter of growth and are delighted with the confidence Highland has shown in the business, and their continued partnership.”
