Gallant Capital Partners Announces Additional Term Loan Commitments for Lumileds; Chuck Swoboda Participates Alongside Gallant


LOS ANGELES — Gallant Capital Partners (“Gallant”), an operationally focused private investment firm, announced that funds managed by Gallant have established additional term loan commitments under one of Lumileds Holding B.V.’s (“Lumileds” or the “Company”) existing senior secured term loan credit facilities. The commitments are intended to provide additional liquidity to support the Company’s operations and strategic initiatives. On August 18, 2026, funds managed by Gallant acquired a majority position in the Company’s senior secured term loan facilities through purchases of existing loans. Lumileds is a global leader in LED and microLED technology for the automotive, display, illumination, and mobile markets. Chuck Swoboda, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cree, Inc., has participated alongside Gallant in connection with the transaction.
