The Pokémon Company is teaming up with skateboard brand Santa Cruz again this month on a new range of ‘Blind Bag’ decks to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary.

The Trading Card Game is being put in the limelight this time, with all decks in the blind bag collection featuring one of 30 highlight cards against a type-specific background. The cards span everything from TCG classics like the OG Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard designs right up to popular picks from the modern game, including the immensely popular ‘Moonbreon’ card from 2021’s Evolving Skies expansion.

And this is a TCG collab we’re talking about here, so naturally there are some ‘Chase Decks’ too. The upcoming blind bag collection also features three rare gold decks, each adorned with multiple cards — because what’s a Pokémon release without some FOMO?

The collaboration also features clothing and griptape, so you can really go to town on showcasing your Poké passions.

The full collection launches worldwide next week on 17th October at 2pm BST / 3pm CET / 9am EST / 6am PST. Since we can imagine these things will sell out fast, Santa Cruz even has a ‘Get notified’ option available on its website, so you’ll know the minute it drops.
