Brandon Sanderson Books Are Buy 2, Get 1 Free Today

Ahead of Prime Big Deal Days, Amazon has brought back its popular “3 for 2” book sale. A notable inclusion for Brandon Sanderson fans is the sci-fi author’s latest book, Blightfall, which marks the start of Riftwake — a new series and the first official expansion to the Cytoverse.

Blightfall is less than $2 off on its own, so this sale is only really worth it if you can find two more books you’d want to pair with it. I’d recommend checking out Sanderson’s Cosmere universe books, which are also included in the promotion as well.

Amazon ‘3 for 2’ Sale on Brandon Sanderson Books

Brandon Sanderson’s Cytoverse is still fairly new. The universe was kicked off by the Skyward series, which focused on building a sci-fi world more grounded in the YA genre. During IGN’s interview, Sanderson explained his intention to skew a tad younger with his writing “because the story is about teens who are forced, before their time, into leadership roles on a planet where war has claimed the lives of much of the older population.”

Although the Skyward series technically “started” the universe, you don’t actually need to read it to jump into Blightfall. Similar to the Cosmere books, this series acts as a new entry point rather than a sequel. That being said, I do highly recommend checking out Skyward as it’s actually a terrific original sci-fi fantasy story. Plus there’s already a TV series in the works for it.

Get Audible for $0.99 per month with new promo.

If you’d prefer to listen to the Blightfall audiobook instead, there’s currently a really good Audible deal going on right now at Amazon. You can get the first few months of the service for $0.99, which includes one audiobook per month. You’ll also get a $20 Audible credit you can spend on anything you want

Although I haven’t listened to Blightfall on audio yet, I do currently have the Skyward series on my list of the best audiobooks. Suzy Jackson is a terrific narrator in that series, and she also worked on Blightfall alongside Eddie Lopez.
