Zoey Deutch made her outerwear the focal point while in attendance at Valentino‘s spring 2027 show held in Paris on Oct. 4. For the show, which was held at the Bibliothèque Sainte Geneviève, Valentino Creative Director Alessandro Michele asked guests to bring a favorite book.
The centuries-old building was the first public library in France. Deutch brought Elizabeth Kolbert’s “The Sixth Extinction,” a Pulitzer Prize-winning nonfiction book. Other notable attendees included Naomi Watts, Cynthia Erivo, Anna Wintour, Colman Domingo, Clairo, Samara Weaving, and Alexander Skarsgård, among others. In an interview with WWD during the show, Deutch shared that she is making more time for reading, stating, “I love to read, but I’ve recently adopted the Kindle life, which I’m enjoying.”

The “Set It Up” actress wore a Valentino ensemble all centered around a striking leopard print floor-length coat. The maximalist silhouette featured a brown and orange leopard print with a collared high neckline and faux fur-trimmed sleeves for a cozy finish. The outerwear hailed from Valentino’s cruise 2027 show. The coat served as a focal point, doubling as a maxi dress of sorts. Deutch seemed to wear some sort of mini dress beneath her coat, although it was hard to see.
Accompanying her wild outerwear, the thespian toted a caramel-colored shoulder bag with a quilted front-facing flap. Said flap featured silver studs throughout, accompanied by a coordinating silver chain strap. Deutch also wore black sunglasses featuring silver accents on the frames, mirroring the same silver detailing on her bag. Valentino outerwear has long served as a standout for the brand. If there is one thing the brand has mastered, it is coats in all sizes and shapes, often affixed with bold prints and trims which channel the brand’s glamorous DNA.

Providing a pop of color, the actress was styled in yellow satin pumps. The shoe, which seemed to be Valentino’s Garavani Enigme 105 pumps, featured shiny satin buttercup yellow uppers that transitioned into triangular toes and gold-tipped stiletto heels standing at around 4 inches. Currently, the Enigme silhouette retails for $980 and also comes in an alternative teal hue. As for glam, Deutch kept things simple, shining a spotlight on her outfit. Makeup was kept light and fresh, topped off with a nude lip, while her hair was parted down the middle, styled in face-framing waves.
