Western footwear brand Lane Boots is bringing its signature footwear to wine country with a new collaboration.

On Thursday, the women-led Texan shoe brand revealed it has teamed up with Napa Valley winery Rombauer Vineyards on a limited-edition “Joy” Boot.

Translating Rombauer’s “Joy of Wine” mantra, the “Joy” Boot is made from chardonnay-washed leather reminiscent of the winery’s best-selling, golden-hued flagship wine. The boot also features delicate metallic embroidery depicting vineyard grapevines and mustard blooms on the shaft, complemented by a suede vamp and heel. Every pair is finished with Rombauer’s brand seal set against custom, “Rombauer Blue” soles.

For Rombauer, the collaboration hits close to home. According to the winery, its founder Koerner Rombauer was “a cowboy at heart,” and had a “deep appreciation” for the Western spirit and love of the land.

Jill Gathmann, president of Lane Boots, added that the company designs boots for those “who appreciate exceptional detail and timeless quality, values that Rombauer has embodied in Napa Valley for generations.”

This new launch is just the latest collaboration from the nearly 20-year-old Western boot brand. In 2025, Lane Boots announced a new partnership with American country music star Megan Moroney. More recently, the “Tennessee Orange” singer, who hails from Georgia, was seen wearing a custom Lane Boot style at the opening of her “Cloud 9” tour in Brooklyn earlier this year.

Lane Boots has also teamed up with Texas A&M University, Rodeo Houston, Marijka and West Desperado on collaborative styles.
