Announcement of new diplomatic appointment


June 20, 2024 – Ottawa, Ontario – Global Affairs Canada

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the following diplomatic appointment:

Joanne Minns becomes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of South Sudan. Ms. Minns replaces Aly Khan Rajani.
