S&P/TSX composite gains nearly 100 points, U.S. markets also positive




TORONTO — Canada’s main stock index rose nearly 100 points on Friday, helped by gains in consumer cyclical stocks, while U.S. markets also moved higher.
The S&P/TSX composite index was up 94.43 points at 35,800.89.
