- Marc Raimondi’s first year covering the Falcons was 2024, but it wasn’t his first year at ESPN. He joined the company in 2019 and was a top combat sports reporter. He also covered professional wrestling and wrote the book “Say Hello to the Bad Guys: How Pro Wrestling’s New World Order Changed America,” which was published by Simon & Schuster in 2025. Raimondi also worked for the New York Post and Newsday, beginning in 2009, covering high school and college sports, plus the NFL, NFL, MLB and NHL.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers are hosting the Atlanta Falcons at Lambeau Field on Thursday night.
The Falcons stumbled out of the gate this season, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers, while quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) and Michael Penix Jr. (knee) were sidelined by injuries. Both quarterbacks are available Thursday, but Penix got the start, as he returned from last season’s torn left ACL.
The Packers lost to the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 but mounted a comeback victory Sunday against the New York Jets to avoid an 0-2 start. Thursday marks the 2026 home debut for quarterback Jordan Love and the Packers, as they await the return of edge rusher Micah Parsons from a torn ACL sustained in December.
