Natasha Zinko loves addressing social and philosophical questions during her runway shows. In the past she’s looked at the space race; the impact of plastic surgery on the body and the mind, and the make-do-and-mend mentality of people living in her native Ukraine following the collapse of the Soviet Union.

For spring, she set out to examine the dynamics of attention-seeking, exhibitionism and the role of the voyeur in the age of social media and Smart Glasses that can capture images without consent. She called the show “Pay Per View” and teamed with OnlyFans and a clutch of talents including Kelly Osbourne, “Sopranos” star Drea de Matteo, and U.K. tabloid regular Katie Price.

The three women vamped, smoked cigarettes and gyrated for the audience, which was sat in the pit of a theater-like space while the various performances took place in the balconies around them. Alongside Osbourne, de Matteo and Price, there were boys play-fighting, what appeared to be a couple arguing and an opera singer in a long pink coat belting out a Puccini aria. It was a lot to take in.

Models later filtered down from the balconies to show off the looks which, stripped of all the spectacle, could potentially work in real life. They included a lineup of blouses with exaggerated bows tied at the side of the neck; a silk dress with a colorful abstract cow print, and lots of frothing white ruffles for tops and for the bum of a saucy black maid’s dress modeled by Osbourne.

The show was thought-provoking and fun — thankfully, it didn’t go on for too long — but next time this voyeur would like to see more clothing, and less vamping.
