Charlie Kirk’s family alleges security failures contributed to his death


Before Charlie Kirk was fatally shot at a college event in Utah, his organization asked campus police for help securing nearby rooftops.

If students could access the roof, “it would be nice to either have it controlled access or allow one of my guys to be there as well,” an official with Kirk’s organization, Turning Point USA, texted the police chief at Utah Valley University, according to legal documents.
