The Los Angeles Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard era is now officially coming to a close. After the Clippers agreed to terms months ago to trade Leonard to the Toronto Raptors, the deal was put on hold during the NBA’s investigation into potential salary cap circumvention. With punishments now handed down by the league and Leonard not facing any suspension, the trade will now reportedly move forward as planned, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Regardless, the Raptors immediately position themselves as a team capable of pushing for a high seed in the East.
