And so, after six straight weeks at the top of the box office and a host of records broken, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has finally ceded its #1 position, with ‘Practical Magic 2’ taking over the top spot.

The witchy sequel wasn’t as powerful as originally predicted, but made $30 million, with an additional $16 million overseas.

Few other new arrivals made much of a blip on the charts weekend, though Angel Studios’ action comedy ‘Runner’ dashed into fourth with $6.4 million.

Paul Greengrass’ ‘The Uprising’ didn’t start a revolution, arriving in eighth with $3.25 million, behind South Korean sci-fi action thriller ‘Hope,’ which debuted at No. 7 with $3.3 million.
