The Crunchyroll and Fox One Bundle Hits Prime Video

If you’re a fan of anime and live sports, this news is for you: Sony’s streaming service Crunchyroll has launched a bundle with Fox One for customers based in the US. The package, called the Crunchyroll Fan Tier x Fox One bundle, costs $23 per month and is now available on Prime Video for a limited time.

It’s worth noting that this pair-up offers customers a 23% discount compared to the price for subscribing to each service separately. Crunchyroll on its own costs $10 for its ad-free plan; Fox One costs $20 per month.

Pairing sports and anime fandoms may sound out of place, but a recent study by Crunchyroll from the National Research Group shows how strong the entertainment genre has become. “54% of Gen Z globally make their love for anime known — just behind LeBron James at 59%, and ahead of Serena Williams at 47% and Shohei Ohtani at 25%,” the press release states.

Fox One features a full slate of Fox’s entertainment brands, including Fox News, Fox Sports, the Fox Network, Fox Business, Fox Weather, FS1, FS2, Fox Deportes, the Big Ten Network and your local Fox stations.

Crunchyroll is the largest anime streaming platform in the world, boasting over 21 million subscribers. The service features anime hits like Dragon Ball, Naruto and My Hero Academia, along with current standouts Black Torch, Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia, Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You and One Piece Heroines.

This is the second bundle Crunchyroll has launched this year. Earlier this summer, the streaming service announced its first, with Starz. If you’ve been wanting to watch your favorite anime shows in the comfort of your own car, Crunchyroll will soon be available on select vehicles’ entertainment systems.
