New York Fashion Week regular Nicky Hilton sat front row at Michael Kors‘ S/S 2027 show on Sept. 11, sporting a fall-ready ensemble hailing from the designer brand.
The footwear designer’s look imparted an air of mystery, making her look spy-esque with classic pieces in neutral hues. Hilton sported a sleek suiting-inspired look consisting of a wool blazer and pencil skirt combo in black and white micro plaid. The blazer, a closet staple for many, featured pockets affixed to the front and black button closures. Both pieces were crafted of wool and featured crisp tailoring that created a structural silhouette.

Hilton’s blazer was belted and layered over a black turtleneck. The belt was knotted, hanging low, and featured silver hardware. Hilton’s ensemble was a masterclass in formal dress, playing with masculine and feminine silhouettes. The look is a take on traditional suiting, à la her blazer, but remixed thanks to the plaid print and skirt addition.
Coordinating colors, the socialite sported a black leather breifcase-esque bag partnered with knee-high black leather boots. Both pieces mirrored the high-shine finish of her leather belt. Hilton’s footwear was likely also from Michael Kors. The chosen style contrasted her form-fitted look, and featured squared toes and short block heels. Hilton also wore shimmering gold hoops and large cat-eye sunglasses in black.

Hilton’s look is a classic example of fall fashion done exceptionally well. From the tailoring to the color scheme, this is a quintessential cold-weather look that melds utilitarian cold-weather pieces, like her turtleneck, with more fashion-forward items. Her ensemble also featured lots of layering, another great styling trick for fall.
