Kering Italia Names Sabina Belli President Amid Leadership Reshuffle

MILAN –Sabina Belli was named president of Kering Italia, effective Sept. 15.

Belli, who has been chief executive officer of Pomellato since 2015, will be based in in Milan and report to Luca de Meo, CEO of Kering.

“Italy occupies a unique place in Kering’s history, identity and future. Its creativity, craftsmanship and industrial excellence are at the heart of our houses and the long-term vitality of the luxury industry,” de Meo said in a statement Tuesday. “Sabina brings a deep understanding of the Italian luxury ecosystem and a strong ability to build partnerships across business, education and public institutions. Together with our teams, she will strengthen Kering’s long-term commitment to Italy and help further amplify the country’s influence on the global luxury industry.”

Belli is tasked with strengthening the group’s connection with public institutions, luxury industry associations and key stakeholders. “She will also help advance initiatives that promote industrial excellence, innovation and sustainability across the luxury value chain, while preserving and enhancing Italy’s unique artisanal savoir-faire,” Kering said.

In addition, she will continue to oversee Kering Accademia per le Eccellenze, the group’s initiative dedicated to preserving and promoting Italian craftsmanship and supporting the next generation of manufacturing talent through 2035. This project was revealed by de Meo and Belli in April a day before Kering’s Capital Markets Day in Florence. The first courses will begin in the first half of September, de Meo said at the time.

Before joining Pomellato, Belli held senior marketing and executive leadership positions at WPP, L’Oréal Luxe and LVMH, including Christian Dior Parfums, Moët Hennessy, Veuve Clicquot and Bulgari.

She has been instrumental in further developing Pomellato. In 2018, the executive spearheaded Pomellato’s high education program Virtuosi Academy with the Milan-based Galdus Goldsmith Academy aiming to train the next generation of goldsmiths and preserve Italy’s craftsmanship and traditions.

Kering took control of Pomellato, founded in 1967 by Pino Rabolini, in 2013. The brand, designed by Vincenzo Castaldo, is known for its vibrant colored gemstone jewels, chunky gold designs, and bold, unconventional volumes.

A longstanding advocate for inclusion and women’s empowerment, Belli founded Pomellato for Women in 2017, a global platform promoting gender equality and amplifying women’s voices. She serves on the board of directors of the Kering Foundation and is vice president of the jewelry sector and manufacturing talents at Altagamma.

Belli will be succeeded by Charlotte Fournet.

At the same time, Krizia Cucurachi was named CEO of DoDo, also effective Sept. 15, 2026. She succeeds Teejana Beenessreesingh leading the younger jewelry line.

Both will report to Jean-Marc Duplaix, group chief operating officer of Kering and CEO of Kering Jewelry, and will be based in Milan.

“Jewelry is a strategic growth pillar for Kering. Pomellato and DoDo are two highly distinctive houses with strong identities and tremendous potential,” said Duplaix. The appointments, he continued, “reflect our commitment to developing the next generation of leaders from within our organization. Charlotte’s extensive and successful experience across several of Kering’s Houses and Krizia’s strong track record in brand building and transformation make them ideally positioned to lead the next phase of growth for Pomellato and DoDo, and contribute to the ambition of Kering Jewelry.”

In March, Kering signaled its ambitions in the jewelry segment with the creation of a dedicated entity designed to structure and accelerate the growth of its Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo and Qeelin brands, which collectively generate almost 1 billion euros a year in revenues. Kering is also acquiring family-owned, Italian luxury jewelry manufacturer Raselli Franco Group in stages, targeting full acquisition by 2032.

Fournet has over 14 years of experience in luxury merchandising and product strategy. She joined Saint Laurent in 2014 before moving to Gucci in 2019 and then Bottega Veneta in 2020, where she held positions of increasing responsibility across merchandising. Most recently, she served as collection merchandising director, overseeing merchandising strategy across all product categories.

Cucurachi joined DoDo in 2024 as global product and brand director. Before that, she spent more than a decade at Swarovski, where she held several senior leadership positions and played a key role in the brand’s transformation and growth. Earlier in her career, she held marketing positions at L’Oréal and Lindt & Sprüngli.

More than a quarter of Kering’s global workforce is based in Italy, alongside thousands of additional indirect jobs supported through its extensive manufacturing and logistics ecosystem. Italy is home to several of Kering’s houses, in addition to Pomellato and DoDO, including Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Brioni, Ginori 1735 and Kering Eyewear, as well as a broad network of corporate offices, product development centers, manufacturing facilities and strategic logistics hubs.
