Our lovely video producer Alex is living it large at Gamescom right now, and the cheeky scamp has only gone and played The Witcher III: Wild Hunt – Remastered on the Switch 2.

If that’s not enough, he was even able to record footage of his play session, which means you lovely lot get to see how it’s holding up on Nintendo’s console.

Now, keep in mind that this is an earlier build of the game, so it might not be completely representative of the final experience when it launched on 29th September. Otherwise, we’re looking at frame rate that mostly seems to target 30fps, but as CD Projekt Red confirmed earlier today, it can push up to 40fps thanks to VRR.

Alex also highlights some of the other improvements, which includes enhanced combat mechanics and the obvious visual additions. All in all, it’s looking pretty great! We can’t wait to get our hands on it.
