Meta Settles $18B in Landmark Child Safety Trial, Vows Changes


Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, agreed to pay up to $18 billion in a closely watched social media addiction case brought by 29 states. Under the landmark settlement, the company says it will make major changes to its platforms to better protect kids and teens. NBC’s Christine Romans reports for TODAY.
